Quick answer
The Canton Fair Complex (广交会展馆) is in Pazhou, Haizhu District, beside the Pearl River. It has four areas: A (Halls 1–8), B (9–13), C (14–16) and D (17–20). Take Metro Line 8 to Xingangdong for Areas A and D, or Pazhou for B and C. In the first two phases of October 2026, the halls opened 9:30 to 18:00.

Where is the Canton Fair? Location and address
The Canton Fair is held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (中国进出口商品交易会展馆), known in Chinese as 广交会展馆. It is in Pazhou, Haizhu District, on the south bank of the Pearl River.
The organiser’s website gives the address as No. 382 Yuejiang Zhong Road (广东省广州市海珠区阅江中路382号). Newsgd’s transport guide gives No. 380. Both name the same complex. For a taxi, show the short name 广交会展馆; the Show your driver card has it in large characters.
Two stations on Metro Line 8 serve the complex: Xingangdong (新港东) for Areas A and D, and Pazhou (琶洲) for Areas B and C. Our Canton Fair metro station guide has the exits and the routes from the airport and the railway stations.
Areas A to D and their halls
The organiser’s 2026 attendance guide and its buyer guides for the 140th session divide the complex into four areas:

The buyer guide explains booth numbers such as 1.1A01: Hall 1, floor 1, aisle A, booth 01. So 12.2 is the second floor of Hall 12. Area C’s halls go up to a fourth floor (14.4, 15.4, 16.4). Halls 9.0, 12.0 and 13.0 were outdoor areas in the 140th session’s layouts.
Phase 3 of the 140th session: October 31 to November 4, 2026
Products move between halls in each phase. For Phase 3, the organiser’s floor map lists these sections:

Getting between areas
The Central Platform between Areas A and B is the hub. From it, a covered flyover crosses Xingang Dong Road to Area C.

The Canton Fair app’s booth-level navigation covers every booth, public services and catering points, and the metro, taxi and hotel bus stops, according to the buyer guide. Expect to walk a lot: one visitor wrote in October 2026 that you will probably walk 25,000 steps.
Gates, security and badges
The organiser’s site map marks 15 numbered gates around the complex, with security checks at the entrances to each area. Overseas buyers need a buyer badge. You can collect it at the registration offices in Areas B, C and D (Area D’s is in the Registration Hall), or before the fair at the airport, Guangzhou South station and other offices. Canton Fair registration and badge lists them.
Food, hotels and services
- Food: the buyer guide says the app’s navigation shows catering points. During Phases 1 and 2 of the 140th session, the organiser’s Music and Cuisine Festival served Cantonese food at the Central Square, on the west side of the Convention Center in Area D. It ran 12:00 to 18:00, and 12:00 to 14:00 on the last day of each phase.
- Hotels: Canton Fair Tower A holds The Westin Pazhou and Tower B the Courtyard Guangzhou Pazhou, both beside Area C. Where to stay for the Canton Fair compares them with hotels along Line 8.
- Meetings: the Canton Fair Convention Center (广交会堂) in Area D holds forums in its second-floor conference rooms, and the CF Award Gallery is on its third floor.
- Help: the Comprehensive Service Center is at the west end of Area D, on Nanfeng Dong Road.

The organiser’s site map marks taxi stands, ride-hailing pick-up points, hotel bus parking, airport bus stops and a business shuttle bus around the complex. For a taxi, show the driver 广交会展馆; the Didi guide covers ride-hailing.
On the river, the map shows the Exhibition Center Wharf (会展中心码头) north of the Central Platform, and Pazhou Ferry Terminal (广州琶洲港澳客运口岸), the cross-border ferry port for Hong Kong and Macao, north-east of Area B.
Other shows at the complex
Outside the Canton Fair, other trade shows use the complex, such as Auto Guangzhou from November 27 to December 6, 2026, according to its organisers. Each show sets its own halls, gates and hours, so check its floor plan. Our Guangzhou events calendar lists more.
Traps and how to avoid them
- Avoid Going to the wrong area for your hall number
Halls 1–8 are Area A, 9–13 Area B, 14–16 Area C and 17–20 Area D. Choose your metro station by area: Xingangdong for A and D, Pazhou for B and C.
- Avoid Looking for a booth on the wrong floor
In a booth number such as 12.2C15, the digit after the dot is the floor: Hall 12, second floor. Check the floor before you start walking.
- Avoid Using the wrong phase's floor map
The same hall shows different products in each phase and each session. Get the floor map for your phase from the organiser's website or the Canton Fair app.
- Avoid Arriving after the halls close at 18:00
In Phases 1 and 2 of the 140th session the halls opened 9:30 to 18:00, according to the organiser's buyer guides. Check the hours for your phase on the organiser's website.
